Blautia obeum (syn. Ruminococcus obeum) was among 2 commensal species significantly enriched in pre-treatment stool of metastatic melanoma anti-PD-1 non-responders (n=26) versus responders (n=16) by integrated 16S rRNA, shotgun metagenomic, and qPCR analysis (P<0.05, permutation test); higher abundance was part of a 'non-beneficial' OTU signature inversely correlated with anti-PD-1 response.
