Pediococcus acidilactici was the second most abundant species in the gut microbiome (17.4% by shotgun metagenomics) at the time of Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus bloodstream infection in a post-HSCT patient with B-cell ALL, co-dominating a markedly dysbiotic Bacillota-predominant microbiome (98.5% Bacillota total).
